Hi Arttio giuys,
i have a series of additional billing fields which do not appear in the artio invoice editor (backend)
some do and some do not
how would i go about making all of the custom billing fields show up in artio?
would it be because these fields are not required in both the billing and shipping?
if this is custom work let me know

hi maju here is my report
after uninstalling everything
i tried to reinstall but I kept getting the same error
i did some investigating and I found that upon the installation attempt all of the db entries were created, but none of the files would install.
So I unzipped the file and manually installed all files to match the backup server - and then I applied the patch you gave me earlier - now everything works great 8)
what i would like to do however is update via the back end updater, but when i tried to do this i got an error message that the component was unable to connect to the server last night.
would this be because I have the same download id as my backup server?
if so how would i get around this problem? thank you in advance
ps later to day I will be posting a 5 star review for you @ the JED - I just have some errands to run first

hi maju - i have deleted everything listed - but I will have to wait until tonight to install component so I don't risk another crash while the system is live

thanks for the reply
i found the download id , input it and then clicked 'install from artio server'
installation success
once again everything looks good and seems to work fine
then i click save after order edit ...
same error as before see below
I can give log in credentials if necessary

actually I did have to remove all of the files
this is because when I published the autorun the whole site crashed - both back and front
i was unable to access anything
so I was forced to login with linux bash and manually delete all of the vm invoice files so i could use the site again
once I had deleted the files the site was up and running again I tied to install the software again via the extension manager, as is suggested throughout the forum, but I would always get an error message, because various files still existed from the original install as well as db entries in the jos_extensions & jos_menu and the main vm_invoice db entries which I have also erased
now when I try to install i get the following error (see attached screen capture)
My client really wants the vm invoice functionality
so how should we proceed - thank you in advance

first off I have 2 problems the one mentioned in this forum on my development server - and a second one when I tried to install on my dedicated linux server which I mentioned in the other forum here:

with regards to this problem,
I have looked through all of our correspondence with artio and I am unable to find the 'download id'
This is required to update the as you have suggested
where can i locate this information?

i have found
languages
english
dutch
french
iranian
italian
files
components/com_vminvoice
plugins/plg_vminvoice
database
jos_menus
jos_extensions
but after deleting all of this I am unable to reinstall
also this above is occurring is on my dedicated server
I would like you to solve the issue I am experiencing on my development server as well
I would like you guys to reply to my original post here:

artio also totally crashed my entire site on my dedicated linux server
it was so bad that I had to go in and manually delete all files using linux bash command prompt and then also remove all references in the language files and phpmyadmin and then it worked again
what is very frustraing is that these guys refuse to answer any payed customer problem - it has been more than 1 week since my original request but no response
I recommend that you delete everything as I have and await a response - if it ever comes.

Hi Artio Team
Awesome software
we are using an older Joomla 1.7 / VM 2.0.2 Setup on an Intranet for an internal ordering system
192.168...
which i would lke to deploy on artio on
First off though I have put it on our cloud based development server
everything works perfect except for when i create anew invoice, or edit an existing one, and I click save
I get the following error:
0 - An error has occurred.
Table orders not supported. File not found.
-------------------------------
however the all of the changes take place in db as requested
so really this is more of annoying error than a real one
but my client would like it solved before we deploy on the real deal
if necessary i can give login credentials to the backup server

I was getting this on dedicated server that I installed VM 2.0 non
the only solution was to disable the payment and shipment icons
btw they were .jpegs
I believe the issue is with curl
but i gave up after a week or so of looking
The virtuemart dev team was saying that it was related to over zealous permission in apache
but they would not offer any more help then that
I hope this helps people investigate
... I just want my icons back
