On top of the mysterious 404's that are appearing on my sitemap, 404 Redirect is not working for them properly either.
Installation went through, i added rd add php mambot and published it, and i added the mambot script into the default 404 page.404 Redirect seems to be functioning correctly for urls i try, and on the backend is making logs.
If I type a random url that does not exist, ex:
www.newgengamers.com/zzzz 404 redirect takes over as it should. However if i click one of the false 404 links that are appearing in my sitemap, it brings up an error on the browser saying:
The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
Further proof that those 404's don't exist and shouldn't be appearing in my sitemap. I don't get why Joomap is putting them there, and they only appeared once i installed Joomsef.
