M-Turbo does periodically generate cache files based on the user preferences. When a website visitor requests a webpage, the webserver checks if the cached file exists and is valid. If it does, it is server to user. This is done directly on web server level, so it is extremely fast and ensures response within milliseconds.

PHP and HTTP Server

M-Turbo requires PHP version 5.2 or newer.

Requires Apache web server with mod_rewrite enabled, or an alternative HTTP server, such as IIS, Zeus or Nginx. The alternative web servers are supported with minor manual adjustments and must have the Apache's mod_rewrite alternative installed and enabled.

It is operating system independent (Linux / Unix, Windows & Mac is supported).
