I just installed the SEO Bundle VirtueMart + VirtueMart JoomSEF Extension 3 on site www.vidamistica.com

However I am having trouble figuring out how to do that automatically set the Meta Title of pages relating to products (and categories of products in Virtuemart).

I wonder if you can give some hint?

Open the Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF, click the VirtueMart JoomSEF extension and then on the Meta Tags tab you can control the product and category pages title.

Thanks, but we want to customise the title tags, have managed to create custom urls and the description and keywords are working for the custom urls, but not the title. What am i missing here?

On the VM extentions meta tags tab for Title the dropdown is set to default for product tage title and category page title.

Custom URL's do not override this?

The urls is setup with title, desc and keywords in the manage meta tags and custom url correctly.

Have latest versions of SEF and VM extensions. Dont purge, clean cache, clean browser cache etc.

Must be missing something here.

So you have the custom title set for URLs, but it is not displayed?
Open JoomSEF's Configuration and on the Title and Meta Tags tab make sure that both the "Enable MetaData generation" and "Prefer JoomSEF titles" options are enabled. Then in the Joomla's Plugin Manager make sure that the System - ARTIO JoomSEF is the first of system plugins and that there's no other plugin for SEO installed that could interfere with JoomSEF.

This topic is quote old, but I am having the same issues.

I want to use JoomSEF titles for virtuemart, but not sitewide. If I select "Prefer JoomSEF Titles" under the configuration tab, will this override article and menu titles with the JoomSEF generated titles?
