Hello, i have used your components for many years JoomSEF with Virtuemart and i think i know it inside out, but i think i have come up with either a bug with the latest version or a script conflict with when the VM extension is enabled ver 3.0.6

We are using Joomla 2.5.7, Virtuemart 2.0.10

2 areas that are failing, the dynamic price update for custom fields on the category list (javascript) and the Country State dropdown in the edit billing address page (javascript) ?option=com_virtuemart&view=user&task=editaddresscart&addrtype=BT&Itemid=184

We have disabled all javascript, jquery modules but the factor causing it to fail.
The functions return to normal when:
Global SEF is turned off or left on with ArtioJoomsef VM extension 3.0.6 Handling is turned to off

Hope that makes sense. the only option we have is to disable the extension.

Thanks, but we want to customise the title tags, have managed to create custom urls and the description and keywords are working for the custom urls, but not the title. What am i missing here?

On the VM extentions meta tags tab for Title the dropdown is set to default for product tage title and category page title.

Custom URL's do not override this?

The urls is setup with title, desc and keywords in the manage meta tags and custom url correctly.

Have latest versions of SEF and VM extensions. Dont purge, clean cache, clean browser cache etc.

Must be missing something here.

Having major issues here and looking for help.

Have installed latest version of Artio Joomsef and latest 2.0.24 Virtuemart extension.

We cannot remove the menu titles from links originating from menu modules for the Virtuemart categories. i.e www.mystore.com.au/specials/categoryname

It is disabled in the extension. While links from within categories (sub category) browse pages are fine it appears to only happen when using menu modules. i.e www.mystore.com.au/categoryname

We can achieve the correct urls using the menu module 'mod_product_categories ' configured to use the JS cook tree styles, but this looks aweful.

Using standard menu modules, setup for direct linking to the Vm category also produces www.mystore.com.au/specials/categoryname

Need a solution here please.

I upgraded to the new version 2.0.16 and this problem is resolved.

I have come accross something very strange.

Im using 2.0.15 of the Virtuemart Extention.

When you navigate to a store category that contains sub categories images/links in every store category the first sub category link has no domain in the SEF'd URL.

i.e store/tops/beads

The other subcategories do.

i.e
www.mydomain.com.au/store/tops/threads

I have purged, removed all custom redirects and it still occours only on the first sub category only.

When looking at the page code this is what is causing the error:

/store/costumes/accessories">

It should be <a title="Accessories" href="/store/costumes/accessories">

Notice there is an extra / and line break.
