Hi,

You don't need to uninstall the free version first. It seems that you have tried to use the standard Joomla Installer to upgrade from ZIP file. You need to open the Upgrade page in JoomSEF and select the ZIP file there.

In case of the Online migration, make sure you have the correct Download ID set in your JoomSEF's Configuration on the Registration tab - it seems that you have the Download ID of VirtueMart extension set there instead of the Download ID for JoomSEF.

Hi,
Have tried all ways to do this now and still says this

User 2.0.4 2.0.3 Free Not available
VirtueMart 2.0.30 2.0.30 Paid Not available

when i go to upgrade from mogration i get this

You have uploaded the package with same version as your current JoomSEF, reinstall instead of upgrade has been initiated

JoomSEF successfully upgraded.
[ Continue ... ]

it then goes back to the upgrade screen and get the same as above

User 2.0.4 2.0.3 Free Not available
VirtueMart 2.0.30 2.0.30 Paid Not available

if i go to upgarde via zip i get this

You have uploaded the package with same version as your current JoomSEF, reinstall instead of upgrade has been initiated

JoomSEF successfully upgraded.
[ Continue ... ]

iether way dosent seem to do anything

i have also tried to reinstall via extension manager and get this

Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/motocare/public_html/components/com_sef"
Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/motocare/public_html/administrator/components/com_sef"

I don't understand what the problem is? This is exactly how the migration should proceed. Why do you think you don't have the paid version? Is there a "Joomla SEF URLs by Artio" link visible on your website? Or you can't access some paid functionality (like Sitemap)?

Re:problem upgrading to paid version 14 years, 1 month ago #14367

Hi,
It seems to be fine.
The things i couldnt access yesterday were the seo and sitemap and was only looking at the suncrsiption thing today once i had tried to upgrade iot just said this

User 2.0.4 2.0.3 Free Not available
VirtueMart 2.0.30 2.0.30 Paid Not available

so i juts assumed it was still using the free veriosn, so i didnt even think to check to see if the sitemap and seo were wroking but they are now..

sorry for the confusion....
