I need to install the JEvents plugin for the site, which Artio says is a Paid Extension.

On your site, however, it says it's free. I downloaded it and manually copied the files to the extensions folder within the component. As I kinda expected, nothing happened.

I can't find the commercial version of the plugin at all. I saw one forum reference a free and a paid version of the plugin though I cannot find where to purchase a download ID for it, or the proper way to enable the free one.

It seems that our free extension is used for the old version of JEvents (or Events calendar, which uses com_events identifier in Joomla) and the paid version is for the newer version of JEvents (which uses com_jevents identifier in Joomla).

The link has been fixed so the extension purchase page should be accessible from Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF using the Get extension button.

You can use standard Joomla component installer interface to install the extension, but if for some reason that doesn't work, use the Install button in the toolbar of Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF.
