TOPIC: joomfish trouble: linking to a menu a content item

joomfish trouble: linking to a menu a content item 17 years, 6 months ago #2408

Hi to all,

I'm working to a multilingual site: english + italian.

If i create a NEW content element (without translation) and I link it to a menu
I just get a not found error.

The easiest thing of the world. I create a new content item, and i click the \"create menu\" button to create a menu item....

I feel so stupid, but please, help me!!!!

What's the problem? Any tricks? Any tutorial on how to do?

Of course the rest of the site works well, i mean loads of news, components etc. etc.

The problem seems to not appear if i link to the menu a STATIC CONTENT, i keep the same title of the content item.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Alfonso,

- Just use the NON-SEF url to create a menu link
- create the JoomFish translation for the menu
- then create the custom URLs in ARTIO JoomSEF for each language

So one for /it/content.html and one for /en/content.html
