And another issue - we have a random article being pulled in to the sidebar on each page:

It's now showing the error:

Not Found - The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server

Again, been through every option I can find in configuration, turning everything on or off, can't get it to work at all.

Any ideas?

The URL you posted seems to be working fine now. The Not found error with index.php seems like some problem with .htaccess file.

OK, we've enabled the SEF component again, and the problem is still there (see attached - www.demo.cmykreative.com/redmap/). The module is: web-dorado.com/products/spider-random-article.html

It looks to not be finding the 'category' correctly when JoomSEF is enabled. We've gone through the component settings in manage extensions, but it doesn't seem to make any difference what the settings are changed to.

It seems that the problem is that for some reason the AJAX URL doesn't contain the /redmap/ part:
www.demo.cmykreative.com/index.php?optio...t=raw&Itemid=101

So this happens only with JoomSEF enabled? What version of JoomSEF do you use?

Only happens when JoomSEF is enabled, works fine with just the Joomla SEF enabled or no SEF.

JoomSEF version: 4.2.8, Joomla: 2.5.6
