this is the sef url

I go to manage sef url - view mode "show duplicity"

For the category "food&wine" I've 2 url:

1) index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=44&Itemid=162

2) index.php?option=com_content&id=44&layout=blog&view=category&Itemid=162

Really, the first one was

index.php?option=com_content&id=44&layout=default&view=category

I changed it, by making a copy/paste from the url showed in "managing menu magazine", that is the menu related to section and category.
I changed the "default" url with the first one I posted because I thought it was the solution: eliminating default url and substituting it with the "blog" url.
Never works!

How can I delete the wrong url? If I desactivate it, is it the same thing?
Another question: if I put "yes" on "number duplicate url", don't I run the risk to have link duplicity?

I already did it:

Add layout to URL: Only when different from default
Default layout: Blog
Purging Url
Cleaning Cache

but after some minutes the problem arrives again.
I also substitute the default link with the one present in category.
For example: category Food&Wine

I copied the url of the category

index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=44

and I substitute with the one default present in manage sef url

index.php?option=com_content&id=44&layout=default&view=category

Now I've two link

the one I copied
index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=44

and the one present in manage sef as old non sef url
index.php?option=com_content&id=44&layout=blog&view=category

Should I desactivate one of this? Should I re-write the default url?
It's making me crazy..

Hi David, thanks for trying help me, I really hope we can solve it, because in two days I have to be online!
The problem is that I want to show category blog and it shows category default, even if my configuration is setted in order to prevent it and to prevent duplication url.
The other problem, maybe linked to this first one, is that it duplicated ulr category default and it uses this url default instead of the url blog.
I also changed it manually, but it duplicates url and automatically substitute it. Results is that I can see category blog only for few time, after that it returns to category default.
I also purge url, after changing settings, and cleaning cache, but the problem is always on my site.
The only one thing I never did is updating url.
Maybe my configuration is wrong, in order to really understand it, I write my BASIC and ADVANCED configuration settings, CACHE configuration and CONTENT extension management configuration.

Hello to everyone,

yesterday I installed this very useful component and it works at all except for two things.
1) I've problem with /blog/ extensions: I've tried to to to manage extensions - content and set "add layout to url" either on "never" or "only when different from default".
The "default layout" is obviously setted on "blog".
But it doesn't work.

2) I setted also the options for url settings "show category" yes and "show section" yes , but it shows only category.

These are two big problem for my site of information and entertainment, how can i deal with it?

The htacces was already renominated, by using the one created by Joomsef after application.

Could everyone help me??
