When trying to install the Community Builder extension into JoomSEF the installer says that there is not a valid XML file in the package. When I manually upload the two files into the components/com_sef/sef_ext directory they do not show up in the JoomSEF control panel. A blank line does show up at the bottom of the extension list, but when I click the radio button and then click EDIT the options are all blank. I have checked and the files appear to be valid and uncorrupted.

I am running Joomla 1.0.15, JoomSEF 2.2.6, and the most recent version of the community builder sef extension downloaded from the Artio site.

Another issue that is possibly related is that if I set com_profiler to use the Default Handler in the JoomSEF configuration screen the entire site dies with Restricted Access messages for every link that is clicked. If I tell JoomSEF to skip com_profiler entirely the site works but the com_profiler pages always load into the wrong template as I mentioned in another post:

Are you installing via JoomSEF installer?

I was using the JoomSEF installer but it appears I was using the wrong version of the CB extension. Many thanks for your help!

I am hivng the same problem with CB 1.2 RC 3, JoomSEF v3.2.0, and ext_joomsef_comprofiler-1.1.3.zip. The plug-in does not show up in the installed SEF extension (seems to install ok). When Artio is enabled, the CB login/registration does not work. Anybody?

Hi, you are using incompatible version. V 1.1.3 of JoomSEF CB extension is only for JoomSEF 2.x. You cannot use it with JoomSEF 3.x.
