Sorry for the late answer Dajo.

I'm currently using JoomSEF 3.9.8, tested both new K! plugins, in a Joomla 1.5.26 site and kunena 2.0.1.

The output of the white page is:
<html>
<head></head>
<body></body>
</html>

Either if I enable error mode (I hope I'm doing it properly) it does not gives me any output with info about the error but still gives a white page with same codes.

Re: Kunena 2.0.1 12 years, 3 months ago #31941

I have upgraded to latest Artio Kunena extension (3.0.7) but I still have issues.

If I dont override the Item ID, the Kunena Menu is not showing after enable JomSEF.
If I override the Item ID with the Item ID of the Forum Startmenu, then I will have a "too many redirects" Error.

Again I had to disable SEF for Kunena for above reasons.

Regarding the RSS Links, its seems that Artio is correctly creating the link

For example, when enabling the JomSEF for Content, a SEF Link is created such as:
www.mysite.de/blog/rss

When I lookup this link in the Admin backend, it diverts to, which is correct:
index.php?option=com_content&format=feed&id=142&layout=blog&type=rss&view=category&Itemid=368

However, when I click the SEF Link, I will end up at the blog page and not the RSS page.

When I disable the Content JOMSEF, then the above link is working no problem.

Any help, how to solve this issues would be most appreciated.

Best regards

Michael

Hi Michael,

I simular issues, so I did the following and it worked for me :)

Delete all you Kunena menus, and dont forget to empty them from the trash.

Purge your SEF urls.

Rebuild your Kunena menus.

Hope that helps.

Hi Jason,

I have already done this, because I thought it is a Kunena issue. Now it works well without SEF but not with SEF.

Best regards

Michael

Dade:
That's really strange, if there was some error, there should either be some error message, or no code at all, or at least not the correct html structure without any content. Does this happen for all Kunena links and no other links? Does it happen when you set Kunena extension handling to "Don't SEF" on Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF?

mibert:
So the RSS problem is not related to Kunena? Try enabling the "Fix document format" option in JoomSEF's Configuration on the Advanced tab.
Do you use the standard Kunena menu structure? Main link to Kunena from menu is the Menulink to top level menu item in Kunena menu? Are you displaying the Kunena menu in some module?

Hi dajo.

I have tried it again with enabled "Fix document format" but still same issue for all RSS feeds on my website.

I am using the standard Kunena Menu and I linked my Menulink to the top level item in the Kunena Menu using Menu-alias. Also I have a Kunena menu module at postion kunena_menu , which is set to be shown on all pages. As this position is present only in the Kunena forum, automatically it should show up on all Kunena pages.

Any advise about how to settle this two matters would be very appreciated.

Best regards

Michael
