This doesn't depend on JoomSEF but on Joomla itself. It doesn't process URLs that start with / and doesn't send it to JoomSEF at all.
You would need to modify the core System - SEF plugin or Kunena to achieve this.

We've just released a new version of our Kunena extension that should handle the profile links better.
It should also fix the redirect loops on Recent topics and No replies links. In your case the following link shouldn't be generated anymore:


There's also a problem with your menu items setup - you should use the menu item alias for your manually created Latest Topics menu item, so it doesn't use its own Itemid but generates the same link as Kunena's default Recent Topics menu item.

1. JoomSEF follows the URL structure, not the menu structure. From Kunena's point of view the No replies menu item displayes topics but filtered to the ones that have no replies. So I think that the URL is OK. You can either customize it manually in JoomSEF's URLs Manager or we can add an option for you to change this behaviour as a paid support service.

2. Please post a Real non-SEF URL stored for the forum/users/ SEF URL. Such URL is not created on my test server. Thank you.

1. Try deleting the URLs and enable URLs Source Tracing in JoomSEF's Advanced Configuration so next time the URLs are created, you can check and post the Trace information so we can see why they were created.

2. Different SEF URLs being displayed on the website than the ones visible in JoomSEF's URLs Manager usually means that your JoomSEF's or Joomla's cache is outdated. Try clearing JoomSEF's cache.

I'll check the page numbers in users listing URLs. If you have many users in your forum, there are pagination links on the users list page. But the URLs seem to be generated incorrectly so we'll fix them.

Is there a SEF URL for forum/topics/ ? What's its non-SEF Real URL?
