Yes I'm not able to open week 1/2014 and it redirect me to the opening date the same you got but the different here is I'm not able to open it with daily, weekly and monthly calendar it's disable completely from my end

$setting->selected = $selected->toFormat('%Y-%V');
and replace it with
$setting->selected = $selected->modify('+6 days')->toFormat('%Y-%V');
