code near line 876:
$setting->selected = $selected->format('Y-W');
with:
$setting->selected = $selected->modify('+6 days')->format('Y-W');

My colleague is not here so I can't ask him about this problem. But what error do you get? If I try it, I can not open 1/2014 in weekly calendar. It always redirect me to actual week. Do you have same problem?
For this moment, you can use monthly calendar, which works well and I will report this issue to our project management.
