Hi,
I am using the paid version of JoomSef 3 along with adsmanager 2.5 on Joomla 1.5
When trying to enable SEF i get the following errors:

Class 'sef_404' not found in .../components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_adsmanager.php on line 265

Can anyone help me fix this?

I guess that is not Adsmanager extension from Artio? Maybe it is one for sh404sef?
The one for Artio has only 194 lines, so there can hardly be error on line 265. :-)

As jan already wrote, our AdsManager extension does not even have 265 lines. Do you really use AdsManager extension by Artio? And which version?

ERROR after installing adsmanager extension - All OK before.

Not happy having paid for both the joomsef component and extension.

Surely 3 of us cannot be wrong?!

I am using old Joomsef as I could not get the new one to work on my site correctly
But have bought and paid for JoomSEF 3.6.2 on 01 May 2010

After installing I have then cleared cache & purged sef urls.

I have 230 lines in my components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_adsmanager.php !!

Well your problem is something different. The AdsManager extension uses a newer feature of JoomSEF that is not supported in version 3.3.1 for automatic meta tags generation.
Thank you for your report, we'll upgrade our extensions to support the older versions of JoomSEF too, but it will probably take some time.
In the meantime, you can solve this by opening the /components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_adsmanager.php file and changing the line 217 from:

to:
