Having paid for both components I am dissapointed that the two are not compatible

I look forward to a new joomsef extension for Simgallery

My apologies but I have been done a lot of work on site seo and have since purged so that particular url is no more

ALthough I am still using V3.3.1 on the site that I have the issue with as I cannot get the more recent version to function correctly on my site

The category and entry urls work and display great
www.mydomain.com/isle-of-wight-business-...accommodation/hotels
www.mydomain.com/isle-of-wight-business-...hotels/swiss-cottage
BUT

The Sobi2 tags display as numbers
www.wight118.com/isle-of-wight-business-directory/search-269
To see this url I clicked on a tag with the text 'motors'

How would I go about making the tags display as text url rather than a number

I have tags working as text on another site using Joomla standard SEF and the Sobisef plugin
So this is what leads me to beleive that the issue is with Joomsef.

This is extremely important to me as the TAG url's are all numbers not text
Not good for google Crawling

That solution fixed the Profile Gallery but now user profiles return a blank page.

set "Ignore multiple sources (Itemid)" option to "No" in JoomSEF's configuration

I have same issue but am still using
JoomSEF v3.3.1

I have bought a newer version but have too many changes tomake in order for it to work correctlly so wish to stay with my existing version

Is it possible that there is a simple solution for me as well?

Add ad ID to URL
And
Add category ID to URL

in the common tab I only see
Itemid handling Use global config Override
Not - JoomSEF handler

And still see
?order=0&expand=0
at the end of the url for each category, although each item url looks great

Found that what I was trying to do was not needed as I learnt that one can change the menu url link in artio Joomsef cfg

Then enter the text that you would like to appear in the url

adsmanager plugin 2.0.4 1. July 2010

urls contain numbers like
www.mydomain.com/adsmanager/43-all-categ...order=0&expand=0

I have uninstalled com then plugin and purged and cleared cache but cannot seem to get this to work correctly

Any help greatly appreciated

Not happy having paid for both the joomsef component and extension.

I am using old Joomsef as I could not get the new one to work on my site correctly
But have bought and paid for JoomSEF 3.6.2 on 01 May 2010

After installing I have then cleared cache & purged sef urls.

I have 230 lines in my components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_adsmanager.php !!

I had a problem with Sobi2 returning to index page when clicking on a menu link to SOBi2 component

This was caused by having both Joomsef sobi plugin and SOBI2 SEF plugin enabled

Just thought I would post this in case it helps anyone else

I resolved the issue by setting joomsef sobi plugin to 'joomla router'
and turning SOBISEF to enabled

Now all working correctly

Just installed joomsef and set up config as I would like it to function but now get error of returning to homepage when I try to use cb profile book links or profile gallery
I do have Joomsef_cb plugin installed - V2.0.0

here is link that should go to cb profile action but goes to homepage instead -

if possible you should set re-write rules within Joomsef to NOT rewrite certain links such as the one you're experiencing issues with. Some if not all parameters in a link are necessary and most 3rd party SEF extensions tend to strip aware parameters carelessly.

I have had to set to joomla router for now but doing this means I lose profile url www.mysite.com/username and now get
www.mysite.com/my-profile/userprofile/username

but this does now work with cb profile book links and cb profile gallery returning the url of
www.www.mysite.com/my-profile/userprofil...etprofilebookblogtab
