Is there a way to add a option on the configuration page call a php script whenever there is a 404 error?

I want to be able to link to my users profile trough the url in order to do something like:

mysite.com/user_name links to mysite.com/index.php?option=com_mycomponent&task=mytask

It would be a great feature!

this is not possible with JoomSEF at the moment, however you can use RD Add PHP mambot to accomplish this. I'm not quite sure where to find it at the moment, just use google :)
