Hi,

In my invoice i am getting the following:

Invoice Date: 25.03.2011
Payment Type: PayPal (new API)
Variable Symbol: 48

What is the Variable Symbol and how do i remove it?

Hello,

variable symbol is used to identify the payment. (at least here) Usually it is same as invoice / order number.
You can turn its generation off in VM Invoice Configuration.
