I am ready to buy, but need to confirm -- We require a solution that will automatically generate a RECEIPT of the purchase and send to customer via email. I have looked through your documentation, but may I confirm that VM Invoice is a Joomla component/extension for VirtueMart that will create a Receipt, and that it will automatically be sent to the client?

Should it also work with custom payment scripts (e.g. an EWAY recurring payment)?
