Has anyone encountered this before? When I create a new manual order and add products, they show up fine. Then if I hit the recalculate button, it adds one \ to the last item on the list and 2 to the one above it, etc. Then, if I re-calculate again, it adds more \. I then have to go in and manually remove them so the invoice looks right. And yes, it does create the pdf with these slashes. Here is a screen shot of what I am talking about. Notice the \\\. Those are not part of my product description.

seems like a character escaping bug. We will look into this and it should be fixed in the next release.

We cannot reconstruct your problem. Can you post your system information (operating system, browser and browser version)?

I assume you mean my local system? If so, I am running Win7-64 with Firefox 7.1. It also does it with IE9.0.2

I think more usefull would be getting transcript of your php.ini settings.
(you can get this from Joomla backend - system info and attach here)

I believe the escaping may be forced by a setting there - so maybe that is your case.

Can you tell me more of what you are looking for? In Joomla 1.5.23, under the system info button, I can copy for you the information under the php settings tab or the php information tab. Let me know what you want and I will copy and paste it here or put it in a file and attach it.
