TOPIC: Special characters wrong in product attributes

Special characters wrong in product attributes 11 years, 1 month ago #41276

Hello,

I have VM Invoice 2.0.28. with J2.5.14
I have product attributes with German umlaute i.e. Ö and also with ß (sz)
In my PDFs the attributes are ok. But if I open and edit an invoice the special characters in the product attributes are changed. If I just save the invoice the characters stay wrong.
Kissengröe --> in PDF: Kissengröe

If I correct the values and save it and then they are okay:
Kissengröße --> in PDF: Kissengröße

If I open/edit the invoice again the attribute is wrong again:
Kissengröe

I cannot always go back and change my attributes manually.
What can I do?

Best regards
Seagul

I have exact same problem with the added fields. I work with the Russian language. Look what's happening, how to fix it?
