TOPIC: editing order in vminvoice looses credit card info

editing order in vminvoice looses credit card info 12 years, 9 months ago #28627

Hi. We've got a major problem with the vm invoice module.

Under invoice/order management, if I click the edit button on any order, then save it, the creditcard / paypal information is removed from the virtuemart database.

Also, if the delivery address is the same as the invoice address, this is also removed from the virtuemart database.

Thanks, Adam

Hello. About losing credit card info you are right, that is serious bug. We will release fix version as soon as possible. (Before that, you can open file administrator/components/com_vminvoice/tables/vm1orderpayment.php and delete function store())

About deleting delivery address, can you provide additional info, when this happens? I can't reproduce the problem.

Hello. Thanks for the fix regarding the payment problem.

As for the shipping address issue:

If the delivery address is set as the default address by the customer, when you go into edit mode, all the boxes to do with shipping in the bottom right of the page are blank. Clicking save then puts the blank entires into the vm database, overwriting the original entires, which would have been identical to the billing address to begin with.

If the shipping address is not set as the default address then there is no problem. The correct address displays.

Hello. I see it. VM Invoice saved shipping user info no matter if it existed (and default updated also). Next version will contain checkbox to set "shipping same as billing", that will delete shipping record from database.
