TOPIC: Few Issues with Full Version

Few Issues with Full Version 12 years, 2 months ago #32497

Hello,

We have recently purchase M-Turbo extensions and following the issue we are facing.

1. Does M-turbo support multiple websites?

2. When trying to create cache for home page, it says "Downloading page fail. Page is too small or 404". I have set the The minimum size to decision, the page is alright (bytes): 10. Pl. update us how to fix it.

3. Even after entering download ID, it still shows following message.

Note: You are using
free version of M-Turbo.

Free version does not
cache product detail
pages, cms pages other than homepage and includes
footer information.

Pl. arrange to provide us your feedback at the earliest.

ad 1) Yes. Full version supports multiple websites.

ad 2) Try to replace file app/code/local/Artio/MTurbo/Model/Mturbo/File.php with file in attachments. There is removed checking of no-route title.

File Attachment:

File Name: File.php.zip
File Size: 3 KB

ad 3) You have to enter the download id. If you see your name the download id is ok, and you can upgrade to full version by pushing the orange button "Upgrade to full version" in the header. Don't forget refresh cache, please? If you would not work then probably your web server has no permission to write on disk. In this case contact us we send you package for manual upgrade.

Hello,

ad 1) Yes. Full version supports multiple websites.

Can you please send us a tutorial how can we configure m-turbo to websites running on same magento admin?

ad 3) You have to enter the download id. If you see your name the download id is ok, and you can upgrade to full version by pushing the orange button "Upgrade to full version" in the header. Comment: This problem is solved. However When i open System -> M-turbo, it simply hangs the system. I might be thinking it is because of 5k pages generated to be cached. Now we are unable to cache the home page anymore. Each time it returns and show as not cached. Can you please help us to fix the problem?

We believe there is around 20K records/pages that needs to be cached per website, is M-turbo can tackle such a huge database?

Do you have any live chat support? Pl. update us. We have already purchased 3-4 times your extension, but this time i am running in trouble. Previous efforts run smoothly :(

Hello,

ad 1)

That is very easy. You have to only turn on/off webistes and storeviews which do you want to cache. If you have a standard layout of websites all configuration will be set automatically.

ad 3)

Probably there was executed the automatically update of cached pages. If you upadate your products or categories offten, then there is better turn off this automatically update and periodically execute only manually update all pages. You can turn off it on "Category" and "Product" tabs in the administration of M-Turbo.

However, 20K records/pages is really huge amount. Updating every day might crash of your server if you have not enough performance capacity. In these cases we recommend cache only categories and cms pages, not product details.

Hello,

we are able to fix both the sites to be cached.

However we have around 42K records including both the websites.

We have very high capacity dedicated server having 16GB RAM.

At the first when we have installed the extension, it is nearly crashing the server. After we tune the mysql it reduces a bit. However there are still problem when we want to browse URL tab. It simply crashes/hangs the mozilla/other browsers.

We are able to fix the issue with the loading of the mturbo home page by removing category and product tree from the tab.

Now, we are having 2 issues.

1. Can we only select root category and subcategory of the root category only to reduce the load? and if we would like to check whether all categories are selected or not, then we can simply expand the category to get the list of the subcategories those are selected as checked checkbox.

2. Is there any way to filter the pages by cached/not cache? we don't seem to find it as it is not stored in the database.

Pl. update us how can we over come on this.

ad 1) You can choose category to cached only by checked the category on "Categories" tab in M-Turbo administration by checking in the tree. There is only possibility to automatically adding for all categories during creating it, there is no way how filter which categories can be selected and which not. We suppose users would not add category too often. We suggest manually select newly created category to list.

ad 2) No. No filter is there. We talked about it and we decided to remove this filter because there is no way how keep correct information cached/uncached when someone remove files from disk.
