Hi
i am using joomla 1.5.15, virtuemart 1.13 and Joom SEF 3.9.3
I have been using this for a while with no issues and my URLS have been generating as expected and indexing on google nicely. My url form was website/store/manufacturer ( if reqd)/category/item name for example
www.vision2you.co.uk/store/ray-ban-glasses/rayban/rx5184
about a week ago URLS started to generate for new products added ( and now for old products ) with the term "paul-smith" in every URL in the place the "store" would normally be. this is obviously causing 404 errors and not doing much for optimisation
example
www.vision2you.co.uk/paul-smith/carrera-glasses/carrera/ca6132
the developer who originally istalled the Joom SEF plug in has flushed all the urls and regenerated however these all regenerated with the word "paul smith" in the url. He updated and upgraded the component and repeaetd only to have the same result. He therefore reinstalled a backup of our old URLS to avoid 404 errors from our google rankings and suggested i contact your support.
if you could please advise and go easy on me as i am not a developer!
web url is
www.vision2you.co.uk
many thanks
