Hi there we have another issue - still trying to get to the bottom of the server load

when we enable SEF the query count is huge - see below

Can you advise what may be causing this please

Hi,
The number of queries depends on how many URLs is displayed on the page - basically for each displayed URL JoomSEF makes a database request, unless the URL is already cached.
On websites with many URLs on one page this can cause performance issues, so we recommend also enabling the System - Cache plugin if it's possible - it caches whole pages, which can significantly increase performance. However it cannot be used for example with modules that display random images, since the page would be cached and aways show only one image.
