Hi

I just installed CB to help manage my authors' profiles. Al also installed a plugin called ZakAuthor ZakAuthor to link Authors names on their articles to their profile.

Then I installed and enabled the CB plugin for Joomsef. yet links to each author shows up as:
www.SITE.com/index.php?option=com_compro...Profile&user=362

I manually created sef urls to something like
www.SITE.com/profile/author

This works in the address line but the links still resolve to the non-sef url.

How can I resolve this?

My order number is 5536

Hello,

well most likely the problem will be, that the component/module that is responsible for generation the link does not generate using JRoute::_() method, that is neccasary to use if the link is to be processed by Joomla SEO engine (which includes JoomSEF).

So, try to locate the line with code that generates the link and check if this method is called. If not, you can easily fix this by adding it.
If the function is called, but the URL is still not SEOized, then I guess it will need some more debugging.

Most likely you will need to check the module you mentioned - ZakAuthor. However I am also not familiar with it. We will have to check it closer.
