Google is full of my old ugly original Joomla SEF Urls. I would like them to be removed. I can either do that by redirecting them to a 404 page or redirect using 301 to the JoomSEF url.

When I tried:

Moved from URL
www.magnasoftware.co.uk/products/34-ikee...fit-10-released.html

Moved to URL
www.magnasoftware.co.uk/ikeepfit/ikeepfi...hone-ipod-touch.html


It will stil bring me to www.magnasoftware.co.uk/products/34-ikee...fit-10-released.html , the old default url.

It seems like the old SEF urls bypass JoomlaSEF

Any thought on how I can achieve this?

the problem is that the Joomla will take control here.
The safest way to solve this would be to put the 301 redirect rules to .htaccess, so they are processed by the webserver and not by Joomla.
