Hi! I bought a paid version of ARTIO Joomsef and I have selected the customized error page 404. This 404 error page correctly works when a general wrong URL is given (e.g. www.mysite/wrong_URL) but it doesn't work when the URL contains also an existing category (e.g. www.mysite/category/wrongURL).
Why this problem happens? Thank you.

Hello,

This is because when JoomSEF doesn't find URL in its database, it tries to parse it using standard Joomla's SEF, which recognizes the category name. To prevent this from happening, go to JoomSEF's configuration and on the Advanced tab disable the "Parse Joomla SEO links" option.
