Hello,
i ask in this forum because is about 3 day i try to find the solutiorn for my problem, but with search in google and in this forum i not arrive to find a solution. My big problem is install joomsef 2.3.2 iin JOOMLA 1.0.15 The problem is about change the index of my site in a different position (not in index but in a subdirectory). For example not in www.namesite.com but in www.namesite.com/home I try to do more test and i see if i install joomla in the index.php (www.namesite.com) i not have any problem and function very good for each component and module. If i install joomla in a subdirectory (www.namesite.com/home) i have the error 404. So i see the documentation of joomsef and i know i change the RewriteBase in the file .htaccess but i try infinity variant and i not arrive to work. My ask is this for have function of joomsef in a subdirectory is necessary change only parameter in .htaccess or is necessary change some other configuration or in domain ?! Now if some possible person can help me i want to put complitly file .htaccess and somebody can write complitly file changed (because i find a different site to speak but there isn't example complitly). My subdirectory is not home but i put that because i want the example complitly, so in the future all person can see this new topic for resolve if it possible their problem. ## # @version $Id: htaccess.txt 5975 2006-12-11 01:26:33Z robs $ # @package Joomla # @copyright Copyright (C) 2005 Open Source Matters. Hello,
your RewriteBase setting is correct. But it seems you kept the directives for 3rd party SEO add-ons commented (Begin - 3rd Party SEF Section) You need to uncomment these to make JoomSEF work correctly! |
