Please, once again check for "prison-ministry/prison-ministry-060/pdf" in URL Manager - and in case a different original (non-seo) link than you already posted is present, or there exist more non-sef links for [i[prison-ministry/prison-ministry-060/pdf[/i], then please post them here.

If the link is stored there just once, and the original non-SEO version is working fine, then I really do not know what could be the reason. (does your site have any customization as regards the PDF generation or the PDF icon link?)

As the OP I figured I'd put in some further info. I also tried purging the SEF URLs which did not resolve the problem. I've attached an image showing you the SEF URLs that have been generated for PDF links.

Based on what you write, I think it might be related to that the URL has "pdf" as ending, and with some special setting, it could be handed differently already on webserver level.

However, I do not have any chance how to test it except directly on your site. If possible, please send you site backend access info and FTP (temporary) to support [at] artio.net.

Well, based on your last statement, I created a workaround by adding the following into my .htaccess file:



Perhaps this will help others. It's such a minor issue that I don't think we need to bother with providing backend access to the site.

I'm having what I think is the same problem (clicking the PDF icons generates a blank and empty page), but it is happening with every PDF icon link and I don't think editing the htaccess is an efficient solution.

I do not have any add-ons that would affect how PDFs are written.

When I disable JoomSEF the PDF generation works just fine.

I found another link that said to add "format=pdf" to Manage Extensions > Content > Common > Do not SEF URLs matching regular expression which I did, but that didn't help anything.

Ideas?
