I installed paied Version of JoomSEF and Virtuemart Ext. on a Joomla 1.5.9 / Virtuemart 1.1.3 - In Joomlas config. there was SEO and mod_rewrite enebled and the .htacces is/was working fine.

When JoomSEF now is set to active my hole site is down - the is not even an error Message....

Just a blank site ??? I tried different htaccess files but i think its something wrong with the JoomSEF. When i try it whit the sh404sef everithing works.

When someone knows something about the problem ... It would be great...

white page means some kind of fatal error.
I cannot help you without knowing the error code. Please, try to turn on error reporting in Joomla to highest level. If nothing shows, check your webserver logs.

If you manage to find any error message, please, post it here. Then we should be able to help.
Most likely, this might be some conflict or the installation did not go through 100% and some file may be missing.

If you do not see server error page (500 Internal server error or 404 Page not found), then the problem is most likely not related to .htaccess file.

I've not seen anything on my page but it was right - i installed sh404sef before. I deleted the table and installed JoomSEF again and everithing is working fine now...
