Hello I have a request from a client, I need to create 4 different pages that all call the same article, the differtent pages will be in different menus and will have a different layout.

Default in JoomSEF when you create 2 menus that link to the same article they give the same page name to the menus wich usually is exactly what I need, this time thou I need something different.
I cannot create 4 different pages because the client will need then to update 4 times the same page.

Is there a way to create different menus that point to the same page with different names?? and equally important can I put the meta "Canonical" to all but one so google will not count this as duplicate content??

In JoomSEF's configuration on the Advanced tab disable the "Ignore multiple sources (Itemids)" option (you can also disable it only for the Content extension using the Manage Extensions page).

I don't know exactly, but I think that canonical could be used like this.

following what you told me I was able to create different name-page that point to the same article. So this solved one of the things I asked. Then I can set the canonical link directly in the manage SEF url
