Hi,
I'm running a live J1.5 site with Joomsef & Virtuemart.

When I enable cache, SEF urls work for a time, before changing to give me something like the following:

www.tradschool.com/index.php/administrat...latune/fr/la-musique

(instead of www.tradschool.com/fr/la-musique)

When cache is disabled, problem goes away. Please advise, as caching is absolutely for displaying my site

What is the exact version of your Joomla? We've already had a few reports of this problem, but unfortunately it happens very sporadically and we were not able to reproduce this problem in our testing environment, so we haven't found the real cause of this issue yet.

I thought I had solved this by updating to the latest Joomla (1.5.22), the latest JoomSef & plugins:

Everything was fine for over 2 weeks, the site & urls were perfect with system & page cache enabled

however yesterday I edited some parameters in Joomsef plugins, & almost immediately the problem returned... maybe a coincidence

I have a feeling this may be something to do with virtuemart; I saw a forum post describing a similar problem, only using sh404 & virtuemart (sorry, can't find the post!)

I get similar problems with:

www.mysite.se/index.php/modules/mod_GI_p...nprylar/mobilklockor

and the site looks weird like yours as well when this happens. No solution for it yet?

It seems like Joomla would consider the SEO to be turned off. I do not think it would be a problem in JoomSEF.

Could there be some plugin / component interferring at your site? Something except Joomla + VirtueMart + JoomSEF?
