Radovan, your solution took care of our cart images problem. Tahnk you mate!

We also had another problem, which none of you commented: when dragging the products to the drag and drop cart, we get a "product does not exist" error message. The cart works normally when adding products normally (by pressing the add button)

When JoomSEF is off the problem stops

yes, I know about this problem. We make a very deep analysis, and solution was, that our customers always use button and the dont use drag and drop system. We think, that´s because nobody use it on other stores.
I think that Your problem will be similar to the image problem, caused by SEF cut the image link in the product page. Maybe You can use the same link of image as used in cart in product details page...

We disabled drag and drop, we dont use it :-(
