Joomla Version 1.5.9 JoomSEF Version 3.2.11

I recently purchased the commercial version of JoomSEF and got it working reasonably quick. Nice product indeed and the only one that I got working easily.

When I first started implementing JoomSEF the site was still offline and we accessed it by ip number as follows: 74.55.215.66/~restinnn/cms/

Everything with JoomSEF was working fine. However recently we put the site live and the access became www.restinn.nl/cms

I cleared all the stored url's in JoomSEF and also cleared the cache.

Now what's happening is that the first time I tried to access the site the browser wanted to go to:

www.restinn.nl/cms/contact.html

It could not find this and was then redirected to the homepage as I set in JoomSEF.

Upon clicking the same link again, the browser then wanted to go to:

www.restinn.nl/cms/~restinnn/contact.html and this worked fine. All other url's in JoomSEF now start with www.restinn.nl/cms/~restinnn

Is there any way I can get the ~restinnn part removed?

after moving the site to www.restinn.nl/cms,
make sure the RewriteBase in your .htaccess is set to /cms

Otherwise, this will not work correctly.
There is no need to purge or delete URLs when moving from one domain to
another. Just make sure the RewriteBase is correct.
