Hi

After configuring and activating JoomSEF I 4.x
get an error saying:

Fatal error: Class 'JoomFishManager' not found in /home/usr/g-fras/public_html/j16/components/com_sef/joomsef.php on line 632

I'm not usting Joomfish since Joomla 1.6 can handle the languages itself. Do I have to install it anywas?

Hello,

no you do not. Just make sure you have the latest JoomSEF 4 installed. The problem should be fixed there.
Also, no JoomFish remains should be present at the site (directories, plugins), that may cause that JoomSEF thinks JoomFish is installed.

Thanks for the quick reply. There were indeed some leftovers from joomfish, bad deinstallation, I guess.

Now it works - but I ran into an other problem: when trying to install an extension (e.g. for community builder) I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JXMLElement::getElementByPath() in /home/usr/g-fras/public_html/j16/administrator/components/com_sef/adapters/sef_ext.php on line 54

According to the update tab I'm using the latest version (4.02).

try installing it from JoomSEF / Manage Extensions. (not via Joomla)

Anyway, afaik there is no extensino for CB for JoomSEF 4 yet?
