Is there any known issue with "Articles » Category / Blog"-layout?
On these pages Im not able to show title or alias with any setting in the content-module, it always ends up domain.com/ or domain.com/blogs.

So, you create a menu item to "Articles » Category / Blog", choose a category that it should display and this menu item then does not have a URL with the category title or alias. Did I understand it correctly?

yes thats right. The title/alias never show up here.

Another strange behaviour is the default view, somehow its works the opposite way.
We use Articles » Category / Blog and Articles » Category with a special news category and if the default setting is "Blog" and "only when different from default":
Articles » Category / Blog ends up with /blog while Articles » Category just calls the index /.
Pretty strange sometimes...

Open the Manage SEF URLs and take a look if there are records with empty SEF URL, and please post a few Real URLs for them or post a screenshot.
What language is your category titles in?

Im not sure which setting I used to generate the empty links (tested too much), at least its the same effect this way that both title or alias are not part of the url.

You need to set the Show Category option to Yes in the Content extension parameters to have the category present in the URL.
