I can't change the homepage title. I've tried several solutions provided by this forum from other users (www.artio.net/en/support-forums/joomla-e...epage-title-tag-only) and (www.artio.net/en/support-forums/joomsef-...g-how-to-customize-2) but both don't work for me.

I have Joomla 1.0.15 with JoomSEF 2.3.3
index.php of index.php?com_frontpage... isn't listed in my SEF url list, but when I add it here (or in custom redirects) I get an error that the entry already exists.

I'd like to remove 'home -' from the homepage title, but I think it's easiest to just enter a custom page title in JoomSEF for it. Someone any ideas on this?

Hello,

are you using com_frontpage for the homepage? (it does not have to be so)
Try filtering SEF URLs by using "show homepage links" and check if the URL is there.

I was having the same problem. The home page was showing the title "Home" and nothing else, unless i used those before and after title settings wich i didn`t wanted to.

Sooo, i went to Menus -> Main menu -> Home

at the settings we select:

Page Display Options

and then set the desired title at

Browser Page Title

Thats it!
