TOPIC: 404 not found

Re:404 not found 14 years, 10 months ago #10890

Hi, I do not know what to do.
Please help me to know why the component doesn't append the string "index.php/" after the domain name...
Otherwise I can't use your useful component...

Thanks
Stefano

PS
If it is necessary, I can upload the entire site to make a test...

Hello,
JoomSEF DOES NOT create URLs starting with index.php/.
It only works with mod_rewrite where any URL is Rewritten to index.php at the webserver level. (in such case, there is no need for the URL to start with index.php/)

Ok, but why when I turn on ARTIO the system don't append the index.php to path?
What can I do to correct this problem?
thanks

To be honest - with JoomSEF you cannot do anything. It simply does not put idnex.php there as it does not work that way.
In fact one of the main points of JoomSEF is to work in a way that the index.php/... does not have to be used. So I do not really see a point what you want this.
