after update it is working, but the sef url link become messy how to fix it! the sef url do not show the name it show the number id how to fix it. kindly visit my site to view the problem!

Hi,

That's how the URL looks like if you have the JoomSEF basic rewriting set as the Handler for some extension. Please, go to Manage Extensions page in JoomSEF, open the VirtueMart extension parameters and on the Common tab set Handling to JoomSEF Handler.
After this change, you will need to delete the already created URLs for VirtueMart and clear the JoomSEF's cache, so they can be recreated with the new settings.

is it click this icon ( purge SEF urls), then click ( Clear cache), after that click ( Update Urls )?

after turning on apache re-write, the problem appears to be solved.
