Dear all,

I have my joomsef updated 3.5.4. I have paid and downloaded adsmanager paid extension and received the download id and downloaded it onto my desktop with file: ext_joomsef3_adsmanager.zip

I have not installed the adsmanager paid extension, BUT when I tried to install it, it give me this error:

Cannot upgrade.
Either your JoomSEF version is up to date or its upgrade is no longer supported
[ Continue ... ]

Under the manage extensions, my adsmanager extension (under installation coloumn) it shows "get extension", but i already paid for it and got it. When I clicked it, it brought me to artio website to buy, but I already got it. But when I tried to install it gave me error above. How come?

Hello,

You probably used the Upgrade page to install the extension. You can install the AdsManager extension like any other component using the standard Joomla installer - go to Extensions -> Install/Uninstall from the main menu and select the downloaded ext_joomsef3_adsmanager.zip file in Upload package file section.

I did as you said but I get this error Instead.



* JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/home/rob1n81/public_html/components/com_sef/sef_ext/com_adsmanager.php'. Please initially check whether:
• the Extension is already installed >>>>>>> its definitely not installed yet as it still asks me to get extension!
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt

Dear David,

It turns out that someone has tried to installed it but messed up. So I deleted the file com_adsmanager.php under the folder as shown below and reinstalled as you said. And now IT WORKS! Thanks a lot.
Now I'm looking at it but is there a manual book for this extension?
