joomSEF's control panel?

does this mean when you look at joomSef from Cpanel..or from the administrative side, because if it's from the admin login side, when i click compenents - artio Joomsef - there are 9 options e.g.purge 404 logs, but none of them are clear cache..

in regards to making the cache writable I searched through the forum and I saw you recommended :

"Please, make sure that both the /components/com_sef/cache directory and /components/com_sef/cache/cache.php file are writeable for Joomla."

the only problem is that these directories do not exist in my Cpanel public _ html file!

Just to be sure - you had some meta tags set in JoomSEF that worked correctly, but when you change them, on the website stays the old ones? Or you haven't any meta tags set in JoomSEF and now you are trying to make them work?

basically my web urls were not very search engine friendly so I got someone to set this up before and joomesef changed all the urls, but in regards to the meta tags, I'm not sure if they have remained the same as before or not,

Im having the same sort of problem.

My meta tags. arent working. Some I can change, and edit them correctly but some wont change.

I will give you an example. index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=4&id=26 and underneath in item id box it says 36.

ive looked and this is the old sef url...

The new url which works correctly via the menu is www.france4u.biz/holiday-lettings/index.php but i cannot edit the met tags for this...I cant see why.

Even if I delete the sef url in
JoomSEF / View/Edit Custom Redirects and create a new one, I still cant edit the meta tags.


Please help
