I installed the Artio Sef component on our testserver but now nothing works anymore.

Anyone who can help uninstall this stuff manually so I can get back to the site for building..?

Thanx in advance.

@edit..

Sorry, I found the problem...there was still a .htaccess file active what causes the problem..

Post edited by: oschikhof, at: 2007/04/04 15:05

Hello,

thanks for posting the reason of the problem here.

For anyone, who experience a 500 Internal server error, or 404 Page not found error after JoomSEF installation, please check our FAQs at

The soutions doesn't work, as it says the page does not exists and even after logging in, it says You are not Authorized to view the resource

What is this, I lost my nicely installed Joomla 1.5 after installing this component.

Please tell me how to Uninstall and get back to my original site.

There is no such page!!

Can you pls tell me how to Uninstall the JoomSEF component, as it started giving the 500 Internal Server Error? Or, how to rectify the problem?

One suggestion, before installing, you must mention that something like this (500 Internal Serv....) will happen and "Do this..." to solve the problem.

Please help me!
Thank you

Hello,

As the FAQ says, there is probably a problem with .htaccess file. Use a FTP access to your server and delete or rename the .htaccess file to something else, then the Internal Server Error should disappear.
