TOPIC: sublevel menu items

sublevel menu items 14 years, 1 month ago #15371

I have installed Joomsef on an account that uses sublevel menu items. The items expand below the root level menu items. They work fine but when I install and activate Joomsef, some sub level items show up, but some sub level items don‘t.

This was your hint 3 Years, 3 Months ago to Chrise, who had a similiar problem:

if you want the submenu working, the Exclude source info (Itemid) and Reappend source (Itemid) options (in "Advanced configuration" section) has to be both set to No or both to Yes.

Unfortunately, this hint doesn’t solve the problem at my configuration (ARTIO JoomSEF Version: 3.7.4, JOOMLA Version 1.5.18)

Do jou have any additional hints for me?

Regards + thanks from frank

Hello,

Could you post a link to your website so I can see the menu structure and the problem myself?
Thank you.

Hello David,
this is the frontend:

When "JoomSEF Enabled?" in JoomSEFs Basic Configuration ist answered with "yes" the submenues of "programm" (Arbeitsgruppen, Exkursionen, FUSS e.V. - MV) are not shown in the frontend.

Regards + thanks from frank

EDIT: backend information removed

Hello,

The link in the database was not created correctly - the Itemid variable was missing. All I needed to do was deleting the link and clearing the cache and it got created correctly. You can use the Manage SEF URLs page in JoomSEF to customize the SEF link text.
I would also suggest you to change the password, since the information posted here is publicly visible. I've hidden it from your post.
