I create two product category in different parent category, but these two category have same name, like: VIDEO DVD, in each cateogy has different products.

question is when i access through front page, this two category generated the same sef url,
i just access one category, another one will redirect to the same url.

any one knows why? thanks.

That is most likely due to your current JoomSEF configuration.

If this relates to content, make sure that the URL consist not only from category name, but also section name. This can be set in JoomSEF / Manage Extensions / Content.

Alternativelly, you need to switch off prevention of numbering (Number duplicate URLs URLs, so the URLs for the two categories would be then:
1. somedomain.com/category
2. somedomain.com/category-2
(this is set in JoomSEF global configuratio or also at component - extension - level)
