TOPIC: Portuguese characteres, how?

Portuguese characteres, how? 17 years ago #3549

Hello,

I have some links that look strange on my site, for example:
www.saladosprofessores.com/not-cias-da-educa-o/index.php
Should look like this:
www.saladosprofessores.com/noticias-da-educacao/index.php
because the page is: Notícias da Educação

How can I do this? I have my database with collation utf8

Thank you,
Raul Nunes

Just check the JoomSEF config and you will find there the character mapping field. You will need to add there mapping of the characters, that may not be yet included there (like \"ç\"). After doing so, you will need to delete already existing URLs to let JoomSEF recreate them,
