I've just installed last released of JoomSEF.
I've 2 problems :

first, it doesn't recognize content (news) component, it doesn't appear in components list in JoomSEF admin panel...so it doesn't generate any link for this category.

second, sometimes, generated links don't work correctly...it opens the wong window or goes back to home page.

Any idea ?

If your news section is bsed on standard com_component then there is no reason why it should not work. If it is customized or based on something else, the code of this component may be incompatible (maybe not parsing links through the seo function). This is difficult to say without checking the site and component in question.

As regards the link that do not work... it might be either some configuration problem (ignoring some vars?) or there has been some change after the links were generated. Try purging them and let JoomSEF regenerate them. If this repeas, you may paste the examples here (of the SEO and original URLs + what they should do and what they actually do).

I purged links and let JoomSEF regenerate them but it still doesn't generate a link for News.

It should open as :
www.opinioo.com/news-insolites/index.php

Well, yes, the problem may be in the menu item.
If it is created manually (as URL), it may be wrong. It needs to stard just with index.php?... in such case, the rest is added automatically. If it is done using the \"category list\" option, it should work... in such case I anyway advice you to try to recreate the menu item. Just delete (or hide) existing and try to create it once again. (sometimes, there becomes some mess in menu ItemIds and this helps)
