Metabot not installing with 2.2.6

TOPIC: Metabot not installing with 2.2.6

Metabot not installing with 2.2.6 16 years, 9 months ago #3913

I've just installed v 2.2.6 on a Joomla 1.0.12 install, and Joomla Metabot is not among the mambots, or anywhere.

Installing the metabot separately gives me the following error...

\"There is already a file called .../joomsef_metabot.php - Are you trying to install the same CMT twice?\"

Not sure what to do - is this something with 2.2.6?
