Oh me oh my, I was hired to get this site fixed and this error has me really stumped. ONLY shows up on some pages, and I can't necessarily see a reason for when it shows up. The page joomsef.php DID have some trailing lines after closing ?> which I removed. Also, found many other files in the comsef component with trailing spaces and removed ALL of them but it hasn't helped.

In trying to debug the file, I can echo out as far as this bit in joomsef.php:

// Check the URL nesting.
switch ($URI->path) {

then if fails.


Any help is appreciated!

Oops, I noticed the post up above about the joomla version. This site in question has Joomla 1.0.x Release and ARTIO JoomSEF v1.4.0.

Try using the debug_backtrace() function to see, where did the error came from. You can also use the headers_sent() function to find the original file and line that sent the headers.
